ONE SPEED

what do you guys think of having a single speed lst2...is it better for racing...for bashing...what are the pro's and con's about having single speed on racing or bashing...

awsome and i mean AWSOME for racing. less weight and u dont need to mess with setting the 2 speed clutch. less things u have to buy if your gears go bad

as far as the speed is concern...how is it...take off and corners...how does it handle...

I made my lst2 a 1 speed and love it. I can still get small wheelies but nothing like the two speed on pavment. It made the truck a little easier to drive. I also think its a little easier on the tranny too jmo.

I have some video on here with the The Dudes One Speed Hub somewhere ... I finished 2nd over all GLORCS MT http://www.glorcs.com/points_mt_08.html using it ... wheelies all day long ... check his thread for more info

This video is with a poorly tuned TM928 ... I wish I had video of my last two races (running a Picco P3-28) as it really showed how awesome the One Speed is on the bottom ... but this is all i got

Hey Dan overall i think the one speed hub is great, even though i haven't tested it. No more two speed isuess. (like i had) Well i through a buggy together, and will be practicing today. You will suprised how good i am.
