Team Geezer results for GLORCS#4

I will put up some video when I get through it all ... but here is a summary ...

Jimmy raced awesome and actually got to start a race ... qualified 31st over all and made it to the C main but with about 4 minutes left snapped the top of the battery box in the Eight T and tore the wires pretty good on the lipo  ... I saw that and quickly shut er down and unpluged since I didnt need it blowing up in my hands

Even though I finished the A main in MT my luck was not any better ... I qualified forth over all but flamed out just before the trucks got dropped for the start so I got out dead last from the pit and scrambled back to 3rd only to flame out again later which of course had me pushing way to hard and drove like shite ... finished 5th and at least beat the dudes that passed me in the standing over all with not going to Niagara so I believe I reclaimed my spot at 2nd in the series.

was a great weekend ... we got some nasty weather Saturday afternoon which had me hanging on to the pit tent for dear life thinking I was Wendy in Kansas ... but Sunday was just awesome with an excellent day of racing ... I will post up a bunch of vids (in that section) as I get it done ... this series has some of the best drivers in Canada and the competition is fierce as you will see in the A mains that I filmed

Most of all ... THE ONE WAY HUB PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY WITH THE STOCK SPUR ... over an hour of hard running everything looks great ... since I dont see me racing for a while ... its time to tear the truck down and look at the HD diffs and at the 928 (as the flame outs had me fuming ... is there a Nova in my future?) ... I'm not sure I will be able to make any more series races this year and the final is 4 hours away ... so we'll have to see

What gives with the flameouts dude???
NR 28's are probably just as, if not more, subjectible to flames than the 928... probably because they lose their pinch so fast... Of course I say that, as I just posted a video of my 928 flaming out in the engine thread, not but 5 minutes ago #-o
But that is the problem with the 928...picky SOB to tune, and if it's not on.... it just ain't on...

Anywhoo...can't wait for the vids..

Jed, I do believe the guys ahead of you must have put a hex on your engine. Sounds like the only way they can beat you. Congratulations on the weekend and having too much fun. :D

Heh ... Dawg, it serves me right ... it ran flawless in the Quals but come Sunday I figured I'd tweak it lean a little cuz it seemed a little fat ... or maybe I just wanted to go faster [-X
