Ok, I ran multiple tanks at the track, no video, but soon.

I am very impressed that this engine with FOC gear swap and +1 LOSI clutch bell runs like this.....   (Dawgbone has known this for a long time)

I brought the bare minimum with me and I had redone my front end this week, I made this work. :D

I'm curious to see how I do under race conditions.... :D

Actually..I've never ran the FOC gear flip on my track with that setup(my local track is much too slow for the most part)....but coming from you, means that there is something worth checking out...as you've have pretty much tried everything that there is to on a LST...

I was seriously surprised by the performance of the LST without 1st gear... TD's SSH is a fine piece of work... I really wanted to jump all over it and give a good over all impression/review...but fact is that I haven't actually ran it on a track, and put it through it's paces... still...I was super impressed by the performance, as I thought it would create drama drietrain-wise.... It doesn't :D LOL..

That 928 will continue to impresss you... just keep running fuel through it.... seriously...every time you get the chance..run fuel through it(even just a tank a day)... From my exsperience with it... it's like fine wine and get's better with age... and you'll get a funny weird/good confidence in it... :|

It really sounds like a sweet combo...with TD's hub...the motor...+1's...and gear flip...

the dude, i have recieved your hub and ran it with the truck , i must say perhaps i did not heat the hub enough as it was hard to get on the bushing, it was great, excellent product and i will buy again, thanks for your support, advice and great product the truck is visibly much faster and besides my previous shift point was set very low so i am used to the sound.... thanks again

ok quick question on gearing with the single hub and a FOC tranny. if i go +1 on the bell what does that do? make it faster or does it take a tad longer to reach the top of the rpms???

Speed increases
Torque decreases

No need.

Im running a One speed with the Mach 26 out of an LST1. The 7 port beasty. She handles it fine.

Anything more powerful than that would have no problem with +1 or 2 pinion gears.

I could actually do that with mine but I would start to loose low end. It already wont wheelie, but thats ok as I have great hookup off the line now and no OWB problems like the 2 speed pos always has.
If it aint broke, break it, then fix it.

Generally speaking, the closer your pinion (correction,,, pinion dia to spur dia) , the faster you will go.
Remembering that higher top speed is going to also give you less torque to get to that speed.

So,,
If you gear for speed, (bigger pinion) you will only do well on the straights of a track.
If you gear for low speed, (smaller pinion) you will do well on the shorts of the track.

It is a tradeoff, depending on what your doing.
Once you understand this, you will understand changing pinion AND spur....
It will make sense as you work with it....(I love this hobby)!!!
