Right, heating it again will be ok.
How far did you get it on before the teeth broke?
You can warm it again while it's on if your having trouble getting it to seat.
Are you using a socket or some kind of bushing to tap it on?
How hard were you tapping??
Tip,,, the more you heat it the easier it will go on. DO NOT BURN YOUR HANDS PLEASE,, USE A GLOVE IF YOU NEED TOO.

hey thanks, i think a 1/4" was left for it to get in
i had on a hard surface and was taping the hub(minor scratches)
pretty hard
now i`ll do the FOC and some maintenance until i get the cam
